Subsonic power-transmission of information is an active area of research at the Division.  Two large rooms are tuned and fitted with arrays of individually addressed subwoofer drivers and 15" speaker cones.  Totaling 6 in all, the speakers could be heard by other subsonic information transmission and reception stations throughout lower Manhattan.
