A musical match of volley/return for two human beings.  The game begins when a 10 minute stereo audio file is received.  The receiver then edits, processes or otherwise makes their mark on the 10 minute material, adding no more than 2 minutes of new audio sources.  The resulting file must be one 9 minutes long.  This file is then sent to the originator of the game, who again reworks the material adding no more than 2 minutes of new material, but this time generating an 8 minute final track.  This process is repeated until 5 minutes of audio 

Ground Rules:

0. receipt of 10 minutes of stereo, 48KHz, 24 bit sound material signals the beginning of a match.
1.  each person can introduce a maximum of 2 minute of NEW SOUND MATERIAL during each volley.
2.  return of volley must reduce the overall length by 1 minute
3.  no compression can be used until the final mix is complete - maximize dynamic range until the end of the match.
4.  the game is over, the piece complete, when file length reaches 5 minutes.
